Last year, we published our favorite podcasts of 2016. This year we are back with the podcasts that provide the best resources and entertainment in the e-commerce industry. There are a lot of so-called “experts” in the e-commerce space but we believe these 5 shows can truly help your business.
Let’s take a look at the e-commerce podcasts that you should be listening to in 2017:
Jason the “Retail Geek” Goldberg and Scot Wingo have been doing this e-commerce podcast since 2015 and it has only gotten better since then. They discuss the e-commerce and retail news in the industry and also feature some really great guests. In their last episode, guest Scott Morey, the EVP of one of the largest mall operators in the US, came on the show to talk about millennial shoppers and omnichannel retail.
Insight from the leaders of the e-commerce industry is what separates this podcast from the rest and earned our top recommendation. You can listen to their latest episode here! Also, make sure you follow Jason and Scot on twitter! They are some of the best e-commerce follows in the industry.
The eCommerce Fuel podcast is one of the most recognizable in the e-commerce world. Their focus is on tips, strategies, and stories that are intended to help large retailers take their companies to the next level. Even though host Andrew Youderian announced recently he would be slowing down podcast production to focus on long for blog content there is still plenty to gain from his recent episodes.
The eCommerce Fuel community is very active due in part to these great resources. So not only do they have a great podcast that is really helpful, but they have an incredible library of e-commerce content. So instead of weekly podcasts, there will now be just 1 a month, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be listening. Definitely give eCommerce Fuel your attention.

“Distilling e-commerce into actionable bites” is the slogan for the Llama Commerce Show and it’s a perfect way to describe it! The Lamma Commerce Show is a great resource for online merchants. Host Brett Curry covers everything in the e-commerce industry from eBay to Facebook Ads. So whether you need direction in marketing, conversion, or anything e-commerce related he’s your guy!
One thing the Llama Commerce Show does that many podcasts do not is host every episode on their YouTube page and transcribes the posts on their website. So if audio isn’t your thing, you can read or watch each episode. We love this show and you will too! Here’s their latest episode featuring William Harris, enjoy!

Hosted by Scott Voelker, the Amazing Seller Podcast is another great resource for e-commerce retailers big and small. Scott takes your questions and provides honest and thoughtful answers to help you grow your business. This show provides advice on Amazon FBA and general e-commerce marketing strategies from his personal experience.
In his latest Friday &A Scott discussed product review solicitation and the right way to do it. This is a problem many retailers face constantly with marketplace restrictions on review solicitation, especially with Amazon’s new updates.
This is just one example of the great information Scott provides. Definitely listen to the Amazing Seller Podcast’s latest episode on his strategy for 2017!
Last but not least, the Build My Onlin Store Podcast has been around since 2012 and has nearly 200 episodes! Each week Travis Marziani and Terry Lin talk about the latest in e-commerce and online marketing. They provide valuable information that can help retailers no matter the size of your online store. Both run their own online stores and share their successes, failures, and what happens behind the scenes. If you need help with your online store these guys can do just that!
In their latest episode, Terry and Travis lay out their personal and business plans for the upcoming year.
So there you have it! 2017 is going to be the biggest year in e-commerce history. If you want to increase revenue, learn how to create a store, turn your 6 figure income into 7 figures, or just get better at e-commerce marketing, start listening to these 5 shows regularly.
